FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions:
Sharp Analog Snap In (SASI)
- Does this work on the JLX?
- Not only does it work on the JLX, but since have observed the JLX to have tighter tolerances, it will typically be even more consistent! There is an issue in some units of the unit "sticking" from the JLX's larger actuator. If this happens to you, let us know and we will be happy to help out!
- Does the SASI fit into my arcade stick?
- If you have a JLF/JLX, it will fit! You will need a motherboard that accepts analog inputs, though, and that is typically another mod you need to add to your arcade stick.
- One axis is flipped, what do I do?
- If one axis is flipped, rotate the SASI clockwise by 90 degrees and swap your X and Y cables. Different motherboards deal with their analog voltages differently, so sometimes the axis will be flipped.
- My circularity shows too strong in one corner, what do I do?
- Biasing towards one corner is common in SASI v1 due to the full analog nature of the arcade stick. This is does not affect regular gameplay, and is being addressed in SASI v2.
- What do I do if the SASI "sticks" in one corner?
- Typically, this just means the stick needs to be broken in. The SASI is self lubricating, meaning more use will make the joystick smooter. At the manufacturing stage, we typically break in sticks a bit by rapidly rotating the stick along the restrictor gate.
- What motherboards is the SASI compatible with?
- The SASI works with most GP2040-CE based motherboards and the Brook Gen-5X, Wireless, XB Fighting, PS4+ Audio, and Ultimate+ with Retro boards. SASI also works with any padhack, as it is designed to be a drop in for analog joysticks.

- Will the SASI work on my padhack?
- The SASI works on all padhacks, as it's a drop in replacement for analog joysticks.
- Will you make a Korean lever version?
- Yes! It is currently in development!
